Facebook Messenger only works on WiFi on my iPhone

I have read a number of posts regarding problems with Messenger. Make sure you have updated to the latest version and if that does not help, contact their Support. That is not an Apple product and they have to do the troubleshooting for their app.

Not an Apple issue, contact Facebook or your phone carrier.

This is not a valid reply! I have T-Mobile, and this is now starting to affect my phone and my business. I am trying to figure out why I have to be on Wi-Fi to use some apps after the most latest update.
