How to recover a backup from iTunes back to my PC without my iPhone?

I was online SUN 29 OCT 2023, asking the community. Looking for help with backing up files from iphone to pc. Found a thread about that (see title above) posted by doshiamitp, with a reply from Ben_Z1, and I replied to that. Now online today, tried searching for the title, or the screen name, or my screen name, Cauthon (to find it by my reply), or the datestamp, Oct 25, 2023 9:43 AM. No luck finding the thread. Searching for the datestamp turned up about 100 hits but I did not find the one from doshiamitp there.
