HTTPSConnectionPool error while trying to update macOS

I'm having the same issue, but highly doubt that Apple support is going to assist, installing OS X on an unsupported model via open core legacy.

if you still have access to your mac, you may be able to find a download else where that you can use rather than trying to update through open core patcher, and then install from there.

otherwise raise the request through the open core wiki will probably most likely be you best option.

As an aside depending on you can download through Terminal

softwareupdate --fetch-full-installer --full-installer-version 12.7.1

(that i think get a pretty up to date version of Monterey and Im trying to do that now, and I believe its an apple Terminal commonage well the softwareupdate commonage is at least

I have an issue when upgrading my OS to Monterey.

HTTPSConnectionPool(host='swcdn.apple.com', port=443): Read timed out

I've got the same exact issue. Looks like it might be an issue on Apple's end with their CDN server(s)?

Is there some way to contact Apple support directly on this issue, or do they routinely check this community page?
