Podcasters are slowing down their podcasts; can we get 3X speed?

Podcasters are slowing down their podcasts. (No, I’m not playing below 1X speed.)

I regularly hear podcasters speaking so slowly that when I slow the podcast down to 1X they sound drunk.

I don’t know why* podcasters are slowing their content down but so many are doing this it’s no coincidence.

Is there a way to get greater than 2X playback speed?

*to lengthen the content and fit in more advertising?

Spotify-uploaded podcast episode stuck as draft in Apple Podcasts So I uploaded 5 episodes using spotify for podcasters, created an RSS-Feed and provided that to Apple Podcasts Connect. The first three episodes showed up without any issues within, let's say, 5 minutes! However, the 4th episode is stuck as a "draft" on Apple and the 5th and latest episode won't even show up on Apple Podcasts Connect. Loading Podcasts My podcast app is so slow to load it just spins and spins for what seems like two minutes. Half the time I will get a message that says I have to retry. Why does this take so long? Is there anyway to fix this? It’s quite annoying.
