Where to install macOs Monterey? I can’t put it in untitled because it said that I only have 36.34 GB and I will not install it in a bootcamo because it will look like windows, please help me, it’s been restarting since I updated my laptop

Earlier, my laptop keeps restarting and restarting, but I haven’t update my laptop in a while now. Now, macbook asks me where to put macOS monterey to install, I can’t put it in untitled because it is already full, I don’t know what to do, I need this laptop tomorrow because I have online classes, please help me

You will need to first remove some files from your hard drive to clear the needed space which will allow you to install the OS update. The easiest way is to copy files onto an external drive, then they can be deleted from the HD to clear the needed space. Once that is done, download the OS update you need (assuming it is one that your Mac can accept). If you use Wi-Fi the file may get corrupted during the download because Wi-Fi is often too slow for these very large files. I recommend a wired Ethernet connection for this download. Keep in mind that if you allow the HD to get too full the computer will lock up and become non functional.
