Paperclip missing from Mail toolbar

Since updating to Sonoma 14.1 I do not seem to have the paperclip icon in my Mail toolbar which I found very useful when sending emails which had attachments. It does not seem to be an option in Toolbar now so perhaps there is another way to add attachments.

I am using a 15-inch, M2, 2023 MacBook Air.

iMac 21.5″ 4K, macOS 13.2

Select File>New Message. When the "New Message" window appears, select View>Customize Toolbar..., and add the paperclip to the toolbar. Then close the "New Message" window without entering any information. Subsequent "New Message" windows should open with the paperclip icon in the toolbar.

Alternatively, you can also drag/drop attachments in a "New Message" window.
