Combining PDF's in Preview issues

I'm having to make a very large PDF. Just adding other PDFs of documents works fine, but I when I add a pdf of photos, they display way too large and all the other pages become way too small. I tried to reduce the size of the photo-PDF in the Quartz Filter option but that might have reduced the overall size, but they still display way too big.

Does anyone have a solution ? Many thanks!

One that, at 72dpi, will be less than an 8 ½ x 11 page, that's about 612 x 792 pixels. If you don't play on printing the photos then you could scale them down to 8 x 10 or less to include in the pdf.

When I add a large image to a pdf of text pages it only shows as a letter sized page.f

Bottom line: if you want the PDF pages to be the same size you'll need to resize the images so they are not larger than 8 ½ inches wide pixel wise.
