In Preview, can I export any other page than the first one to a png image?

When I open a multi-page PDF file in Preview select any page and try to export it as a PNG file, the resulting PNG is always the first page of the PDF. What am I doing wrong?

It is not possible despite the appearances when right-clicking on a thumbnail.

You could create a temporary folder and have it open so you can see it and the thumbnails at the same time. Drag each thumbnail one per one in it, it will create individual PDF pages that you can afterward export to PNG (with greatly degraded quality in my test. A screen capture often gives better results with a large screen).

Hopefully, you don't have dozens like that to do.
