You might not be getting notifications on your iPhone for a few reasons. Here are some of the most common causes:
If you've checked all of these things and you're still not getting notifications, you can try restarting your iPhone. If that doesn't work, you can contact Apple support for help.

Have you enabled Scheduled Summary?
Settings > Notifications > [Select the App that you are having trouble receiving immediate notifications]
See the pic below for a few examples. Please select immediate delivery.

Go to Settings and tap Notifications. Select an app under Notification Style. Under Alerts, choose the alert style that you want. If you turn on Allow Notifications, choose when you want the notifications delivered — immediately or in the scheduled notification summary.
Use notifications on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch

You can allow access to Notification Center on the Lock Screen. Go to Settings > Face ID & Passcode (on an iPhone with Face ID) or Touch ID & Passcode (on other iPhone models). Enter your passcode. Scroll down and turn on Notification Center (below Allow Access When Locked).

I tried everything listen above, but finally I opened the Message-app and pressed on a contacts name. The option ”Göm Notiser” (or in English ”Hide Notifications”) was activated for No reason (!) for my favourite contacts. Now everything works as used to.
So FYI for those with this problem. I have multiple apple devices...iPad pro, iPad mini, apple phone and apple watch. I went and did a last ditch search to solve this issue before going to the apple store for assistance. Even though I turned off messages on my iPad pro and mini some how on my iPad pro the focus was turned on and shared across devices. I'm positive I turned it off but.....anyway check ALL Apple devices to make sure focus is turned off. I have had no further problems. I will always check now when doing software updates though
I'm pretty sure when I was using my iphone 12mini, I'd get notifications on both my watch and my phone. Now that I have the 15pro, I lost my notifications. I did try powering down my apple watch and was thrilled to notice I was getting notifications once again. Thank you so much for the suggestion.
FWIW, prior to this, I tried a full reset, made sure I didn't have DND or Focus on, and made sure the sender of the texts wasn't muted.
I was having some of the same issue and discovered somehow I had a version of Do Not Disturb on when I looked inside the Focus settings. There is a "Hide Badges" setting that was on. I turned that off, the DND settings for key applications and, lo and behold, everything started working again.
I had the same problem with the same HW. Tried all the recommendations without success. Finally googled how to turn Do Not Disturb off. That worked! The iOS 18 bug must be related to the Do Not Disturb feature. I’ll wait for a fix bf using this during my sleeping hours and driving, again.
To turn off do not disturb:
Swip across screen to get to control center. Toggle off - do not disturb.
SOLUTION:if nothing has worked and your messages are not in hide alerts and notifications not even popping up in notifications center just go to settings -general-transfer or rest iPhone -reset-reset all settings
then it should start working instantly again when phone starts back up and nothing on your iCloud should get deleted either
I tried everything on my iPhone 15 Pro, from reading all the ideas here in this thread to shutting my phone off and nothing was working. I went into my Settings > Focus > Do Not Disturb and deleted the existing DND Schedule and then added it back in and voila, I now am getting notifications for text messages, WhatsApp, etc.
When you wear Apple Watch and your iPhone screen is locked, notifications go to your Apple Watch, NOT your iPhone. And if your iPhone screen is active, notifications go to your iPhone, NOT your Apple Watch. This is by design. In other words, notifications go to one or the other, but NOT both at the same time. How have you configured notifications on your Apple Watch? Remember, if the iPhone screen is locked, the notifications will come to the watch. Proximity to your iPhone doesn't matter. It only matters if the iPhone screen is active at the time a notification arrives. If its locked (screen not active), the notification will come to your watch, so you need to make sure you have configured notifications correctly on your Apple Watch. Personally, I use Haptics on my Apple Watch (not sounds) and I have it set to Prominent, so I get a pretty hard tap on my wrist.

A solution I only found here. Not just the crescent moon icon but the silent mode icon. Every one of my messages had the silent mode icon attached to it. How that happened is a virtual mystery.
I’m having the same problem and yes, I noticed under everyone’s name. Hide alerts was turned on even though I did not do this. You have to change each contact individually. You have to turn that off or you won’t get a notification. It’s driving me crazy this needs fixed ASAP.
Have you opened the Apple Watch App (on your iPhone) > Notifications and made sure you've configured all the notifications to be what you want for each option?
I found this somewhere. Try to reset the network settings. It worked for me
It's 600% on iOS 17 because I did a factory reset on my iPhone 13 Pro Max I just got it like a year ago and it's 106,000% iOS 17 because my families are also having issue hopefully iOS 18 will fix all of this problem this is the reason why all of us are having this issue by the way my phone is brand new from apple.com it's not a refurbished device
