After installing Sonoma 14.1 a red bar with Installer Progress with a dark grey screen appears. It continues to do that after installing 14.1.1. This appears for from seconds to minutes after starting the computer and logging in. The startup time has also increased with the Sonoma update.
Please advise.

There are some similarities but the bar is on top with the Apple logo and some of the regular icons on the left side of the red bar. There is also not a weird glitch in the screen. My concern is a reinstall will not get rid of it like it didn’t for his.
Same issue here on my iMac Pro 2017. Aside from Apple Updates, no new software, etc. Removed all non-standard startup objects, etc. In my case, I've never seen this before 14.1.1. FileVault has been installed since 2017.

But does it startup or not?
Eventually. After it goes away it takes around a minute to be able to use the computer.

Did you enable FileVault a bit before this happened?
