How do you hide abums in music on macos ?

I would like to hide albums that I have purchased.

I am using the Music app on macos.

I have macos ventura 13.6 (22G120).

In music I have gone to Account > Family Purchases, selected myself, then one-by-one clicked the X icon on each album and answered "Yes" when it prompts me if I want to hide the album.

When I click back on to Albums under Library, all these albums still appear.

When I exit music and comE back into it, then go back to Account > Family Purchases, all the albums are back again.

In previous versions of iTunes there was a setting to hide purchased albums by going into the preferences screen, but that is no longer present.

When I am in the album view, I can right click an album and choose "Delete" (unhelpful name). This brings up the "Do you want to hide" screen:

When I close music and open it again, the album still appears.

I have music on my macbook that I want to have there. I just don't want the purchased music to be there. I just want the music that is "on the device only".

Is there a way to do that or have apple taken it away?

MacBook Air 15″, macOS 13.6

Hiding content from your purchase history won't delete anything that is already downloaded to your library. If you were to right-click and use remove download or otherwise delete the items they should no longer show. Note there is also an option View > Only Downloaded Music which should be self explanatory.
