Why does the PBS app no longer work on Apple TV?

My MXH02LL/A Apple TV 4K is running OS 17.1. The PBS app which used to work now displays only a blue screen (no content).

iMac 27″, macOS 14.0

My apple TV Unit will not load PBS or Prime Video after the most recent update. Is there a fix? Apple TV 4K, Model A1842, TVOS 17.0. Ist time using after the most recent update the PBS app wouldn't connect. Performance was returned to normal (I thought) after deleting the PBS app and then reinstalling it. Worked fine that evening. This evening again the PBS app would not connect so I deleted it again, then reinstalled it only this time it still doesn't connect. The PBS app connects and works normally on my iPad and Mac.

When I choose PBS it says it is not supported on this device. I have Apple TV 3rd generation. What’s going on? When I choose the PBS App it says it is not supported on this device. I have Apple TV 2nd generation. What’s going on? Worked well up to today.

PBS app not working with my Apple TV box I can no longer access the PBS app on my apple TV box. Do I have to buy a new box?
