Hi i am a new mac book user.Problem is i cant able to use some symbolic key word in my macbook keyboard such question marks and other what will be the sollution

What is happening when you're trying to type an exclamation mark or a question mark? It could be that your keyboard settings are not right

See this to see if your keyboard language settings are set to the right country

1. On your Mac, choose Apple menu  > System Settings, then click Keyboard  in the sidebar. (You may need to scroll down.)
2. Go to Text Input on the right, then click Edit. 
3. Click the Add button , then search for a language (such as Chinese, Simplified). Select one or more input sources for each language you want to use. 
4. Click Add.
5. To begin writing in another language, select the language you want to use in the Input menu in the menu bar.
6. You can click Show Keyboard Viewer in the Input menu to see the keyboard layout for the language that’s currently selected.

Could you tell us exactly what you get instead of a question mark?

If it is a different character, you probably have the wrong input source/keyboard layout active. For example, if you get _ instead of ?, you probably have Spanish instead of US.

Go to system preferences > keyboard > input sources and make sure that there is only ONE item on the list, and that the name of that item is US or ABC (if you normally type English).

If you are running MacOS Ventura or Sonoma, you go to system settings > keyboard > text input > edit > input sources.
