Identification of timers on different devices.

How much time was left on my kitchen HomePod bake timer. I happened to have my phone in my pocket, my watch on my wrist and airpods in my ears. I asked Siri out loud, in my airpods I heard there were no active timers. This despite my homepod lighting up. I had to take out my airpods before my homepod would tell me the timer status. I don’t know if watch or phone were overriding the answer from HomePod. How do I get timers shared or active timer status on all my devices?

Sadly each Siri capable device functions independently, albeit perhaps after a bit of handshaking when multiple devices can hear your request. You can check on running timers on HomePods in the Home app, but the real trick is to be very deliberate when making a request and plan so that you will be in earshot of that device when the timer runs out. I look forward to Siri reaching the Jarvis level, but fear that may take some time.
