Problems with CarPlay using usb a to usb c cables

When you get a new iPhone, it's very helpful to do the following:

1. Delete the previous iPhone from your cars memory in the infotainment system
2. Make sure you give your new iPhone a new name by going to Settings > General > About > Name
3. Make sure the cable you're using is a data capable cable. Read this user tip --> https://discussions.apple.com/docs/DOC-250007831

Not all USB A to USB C cables are created equal.
