iPhone 15 Pro Max Battery health dropping faster

I feel like the battery quality is a lottery. I started using my Pro Max on 9/2023 and my battery health dropped 1% after 174 charging cycles(5/18/2024). I have been using 80% limit + Clean energy charging since Day 1. Friend of mine got it the same day as me, he didn't use 80% limit + clean energy charging setting till like 12/2023 when I told him about it. And he has 189 charging cycles with 100% battery health.

It’s also the problem of my IP15Promax. Bought it’s been 7mos since I bought it and the battery health is rapidly decreasing. As I checked yesterday (07.31.24), it’s still in 92%. But as I check today (06.01.24), it’s in 91%. How is it possible?

i am from india and I purchased iphone 15pro max September 2023 and today June 2024 i am reviewing,

Using my iphone 15 pro max 512gb with 20watt adapter and Magsafe wireless charger which give (15watt output),

my cycle count is 230 and Battery health is 100%.

In 6 months, with 4 hours of avg usage and without gaming, battery health has reduced to 99% with 114 cycle count. And people say it’s normal. But I say it’s not. I charge to 100% only once a week and rest all days it’s just to 80%. Never has my battery come below 30% in the last 6 months. And still health is down to 99%, in spite of following all the best practices that’s out tr.

So how are you charging your phone cause I have mine limited to 80% and I normally try and charge it before it hits 20% and I currently have 43 cycle count and 100% max capacity. Try and limit your battery usage and not charge it to 100% and try not to drain it before it drops to zero

Well, i used to frequently check my battery health on my iphone 15 pm too every time i checked my battery health after using my phone my phone seemed to loose a percentage too but now that I have stopped looking into the battery health what i realized is, battery health does not effect your battery span well my phone battery and heating seems to beel A okay tho my battery health dropped crazy whenever i looked at my battery health

Maybe other batteries just perform better. My i15p is 7 months already, I am expecting to drop anytime soon. I wont be feelin’ sad or sort.

It is. On average, you should expect the battery to decline about 1% a month. Your battery is doing better than normal.

Yes, even when you go the physical store they will just tell it’s normal thing for battery to degarade.

My cycle count is just 7 and battery health is at 97% when i checked it via shortcut . What should i do?

my phone cycle count stands at 35 and my battery health dropped to 98% tried contacting apple .

but they said everything is fine it is normal .
