iPhone 15 Pro Max Battery health dropping faster

On IPhone 15 Pro Max, I found out that on my phone cycle count only 31 count that battery health already dropped to 98%, and called to apple support, running different type of the diagnostics test, but saying working fine with my battery. Asking me continue using it, I called apple support is on 7-11-2023, and today 12-11-2023, I checked my battery had been dropped to 97% and just with 35 cycle count, mean that I just charged 4 cycle count already dropped 1%. And I checked apple community seem like this is the common issue on iPhone 15 Pro Max, but apple non stop saying this is normal…….. did anyone having same issue with me ? I think that apple still not taking any action on this issue, just will saying my software tested working fine with your battery…………

i still have 100% after 81 cycles. i think it depends on the user. id recommend only charging to 80%. you can set an 80% limit in settings on all 15 models, settings>battery>battery health & charging>charging optimization and select 80% limit. i charge my phone overnight so only charge to 100 if i really need it. the 80% limit helps so much especially charging overnight.

I’m facing the same issue. The device was first used on Dec 28 2023 and today it’s been 58 days. The cycle count is 37 and the battery health is 97 % 🔋 Is this really a issue or what?? 🤔🤔

The 14 pro max wasn’t like this it was 99% after the use of 6-7 months.

Even though 14 pro max was used heavily than this 15 pro max…..

Is Apple secretly doing this?

If you don't want Battery Health to decline. Charge your iPhone to 50% and power if off and don't use it. Occasionally charge it back up to 50% for long term storage.

If however, you want to actually use your phone, accept that Battery Health declines normally and there is no solution to stop it from decreasing. It's what batteries do. ALL BATTERIES.

my iPhone 15 pros battery health suddenly dropped to 99 percent only after 50 cycles . Moreover I have been using the 5w charger to slowly charge the phone in order to avoid overheating . I simultaneously bought a iPhone 15 for my sister which is still maintaining 100 percent even after 68 cycles. I guess it is absolutely useless investing in an apple phone. I feel it is better move to s24 ultra as the primary and keep apple phones as the secondary phone . It is absolutely ruining the piece of mind of an average consumer .

I feel like the battery quality is a lottery. I started using my Pro Max on 9/2023 and my battery health dropped 1% after 174 charging cycles(5/18/2024). I have been using 80% limit + Clean energy charging since Day 1. Friend of mine got it the same day as me, he didn't use 80% limit + clean energy charging setting till like 12/2023 when I told him about it. And he has 189 charging cycles with 100% battery health.

Well, i used to frequently check my battery health on my iphone 15 pm too every time i checked my battery health after using my phone my phone seemed to loose a percentage too but now that I have stopped looking into the battery health what i realized is, battery health does not effect your battery span well my phone battery and heating seems to beel A okay tho my battery health dropped crazy whenever i looked at my battery health
