Invalid serial number

Hello everyone

I have MacBook Pro M2 2022

when I want to check the coverage I got a message “serial number not valid “

I made an apple hardware check and found no issues

the device can sign in normally with my Apple ID

any solution?

That is not valid for me with Big Sur. Apple has been making a lot of changes between different versions of macOS recently. Yes, there is a similar method within "About This Mac" and even the System Settings app to get the current support options.


People can also copy & paste their system serial number into the check coverage portion of this Apple article linked here (manually typing the serial number is discouraged since some characters can be mistaken for another letter or number):
