How is the iPhone 15 Pro Max regarding performance and battery?

I want to buy iphone 15 pro max but I am hesitant because of the reviews and news I heard when it was released regarding the heating issue and other problems so I want to make sure if things were solved or not yet before I buy it.

can we return the phone and get refund? how does it works?

If you purchased the phone from Apple within the last 14 days, you can return it. If you bought it from somewhere else, you'll need to contact that retailer

If you're beyond the return period, contact Apple to have then evaluate your device:

Because you don’t have any issues with your phone, we should
all shut up?

The issues with my phone are real, they’re not in my imaginations.

I bought a $1,200 phone that has issues. My previous iPhone
XR worked perfectly (I should have kept it)

There isn’t any “hysteria” just people who are disappointed in
a (very expensive) product they bought, hoping the problems be corrected.

lobsterghost1 didn't tell you to shut up, or suggest you're problems weren't real or use the very sexist term "hysteria". They have just as much right to share their experiences here as you do. The fact that you disagree with them doesn't make it right for you to be rude and unpleasant.

Your comment “There are now millions upon millions of people with iPhone 15 models
who are happily using them not posting on any public forums about their phones
at all.” certainly implies that those of us with phone problems shouldn’t complain.

"Other people don't have this problem" ≠ "your problem isn't real".

I've found that time spent on this forum (and life in general) is far more pleasant and productive if I don't spend it looking for reasons to get angry at people. I try to assume that people's intentions are good.

Just bought new IPhone 15 pro max coupl of days ago. It is not charging properly. Either start charging about 10 minutes after connecting the cable and it also keep disconnecting. Never expected this from Apple.

You never expected that a company run by humans that produces devices made by humans might have the occasional failure? Uh, okay.

If you purchased the phone from Apple within the last 14 days, take it back and get a different on.

I purchased the iPhone 15 Pro Max and have updated it to 17.4.1 ,recently when I tried to start it up after charging,it just froze and it told me to plug it in to my computer, but it remained frozen, it was then that I removed the sim card and the phone switched off, I reinstalled the sim card and the phone was back to normal.

I was wondering if anyone else have encountered this issue.

I’m regretting returning my iphone12 pro for 15pro due to so many issues. The 1st phone I returned within a month and 2nd one is not the best. It’s constantly telling me I have no internet when I’m at home and my work computers, TV all work fine. The face recognition works when it wants to and too many other items I can’t stand with this phone. Frustrated with it.. it won’t even connect to my car. I know others having issues as well. I think for those that are not happy should get a replacement phone older model whatever … it’s a hassle.

So it’s now May 2024 and I bought an iPhone 15 pro as an upgrade to my iPhone 11 Pro. I literally want my old phone back but my nephew is now using it.

In effect I just have a telephone because unless the mobile is connected to my home Wi-Fi, which it constantly just drops out of anyway, this new phone doesn’t pick up any wifi signal the minute I’m out the house. So I cannot use any apps and can only make calls. Total disaster and so much money for something that is a total disaster. I am going to be taking it to the store tomorrow to see what they have to say. I would rather now have a reconditioned iPhone 11.

Just an update, I went back to place of purchase and they went through the details and have replaced the phone! I did have the opportunity for a refund but I have so much important stuff on my phone I panicked and said just exchange… I am 3 days in with new one and so far it’s been good, 😊 fingers crossed I got a good one like others ❤️
