Upgraded my iPhone, now iCloud backups says 1GB is stored but for "0 devices"

Recently upgraded iPhone SE1 to a new SE3 using the built-in processes. I believe my new iPhone is backing up correctly, but I'm not sure.

When I look in iCloud storage, it says 0 devices using about 1GB of storage:

-why is this?

-How can I confirm my new iPhone's backing up correctly?

-Can I reduce or delete it safely without affecting my active iPhone?

iPhone SE, iOS 16
