New left margin

I am writing a play on Pages. At the left-hand margin I type the characters name, then hit tab to move cursor to the point where I want to start writing dialogue. But when the line wraps around, I'd like it to only return to the point where I started writing dialogue, not all the way back to left-hand margin where character's name is. (I'm wanting all the dialogue lines to be aligned). Then, of course, I also need to know how to get the cursor back to the left-hand margin so I can write a new character's name, and so forth. I've hunted online and can't find the answer to this -- the solution is probably simple but I cannot find it. Can anybody help ?
