when i try to record my screen it takes a screenshot instead
I follow the instructions as listed in apple instructions here: Record your screen in QuickTime Player on Mac - Apple Support
But instead of taking a movie of my screen, quicktime just runs a 10 second timer then takes a single screenshot of my selected screen area at that time
