call log, on each others phone
my husband and i have shared an Apple ID for 10 years, now all of a sudden our call history is showing up on the others phone. Is there a way to stop this?
iPhone 14, iOS 16

The only way to stop it is to stop sharing an Apple ID. Apple intends the IDs to be used by only one person. While it has been possible in the past to work around that, iOS updates may break those workarounds.

What if the 2 phones are with a single individual, I have a work and personal. I have those 2 phones for reason and don't want call log history shared, nor should I have to manage to AppleIDs.
Then you need two Apple IDs, one for work and one for personal. You can share data using Family Sharing.
Note that if you have an employer account on your work phone, they may have access to a lot of your data. Another reason for keeping things separate.
If you updated to IOS 17 you're experiencing this new feature
