Apple TV4K recent performance issue

i have a Silicon Dust HDHomeRun over the air tuner. Sometime in the last month, my AppleTV4K suddenly was unable to keep up with the video stream. I can play the stream perfectly on my iPad and my Mac. I have had both the Apple TV and the tuner for years and never had an issue. I noticed that others have suddenly started to experience buffering issue with the AppleTV app, and I wonder if there might be a library that both are using that was recently updated and might be the underlying cause.
