How do I turn sound off for notification while in focus mode on Mac?
My Mac make sounds even when it's in Focus mode. Focus mode seems to only disable pop-ups not sounds.
MacBook Air 13″, macOS 14.1

> Thank you for reaching out in Apple Support Communities. We recommend to see if there's a possibility that there are specific apps allowed to provide you a sound notification, even with Focus turned on. This is an option that's available to customize within Focus. Here's an article on how to verify that: Set up a Focus on Mac - Apple Support
> Specifically the section that says, "Choose which notifications to allow." If there's a list of notifications, you can remove it. This will prevent sound notifications with Focus enabled on your Mac.
If these lines are what you are talking about, it was not helpful.
the section 'choose which notification to allow' has no apps.
So it should silence sound and notification on every app, right?
Thanks for the fast response.
