Macbook shows the wrong date and time

Try resetting the NVRAM and SMC:

The SMC reset procedures are only for Intel Macs. With Silicon Macs, there is nothing that needs to be done other than restart. The steps you need to perform depend on if it is a Laptop, Desktop, or if it has a T2 chip. While typically for Power Management or fan issues, it is a basic reset for trouble with Intel Macs along with the PRAM.

What time does it reset to?

I assume you have verified the region?

Is the Time Zone correct in settings?

Do you have the automatic setting for date and/or time zone turned on or off?

What Source is showing for the Time server in settings?

Long time MAC user, so Tried zapping the PRAM initially too. No luck. The instructions above state to drive with the SMC but the SMC is not used on the Intel according to the instructions if anyone have any other solutions? I have to reset the date/time each time I log in to it.
