Do I need Kaspersky for my Mac?

I'm getting a pop up saying my computer has a virus/ is infected. I downloaded Kaspersky... to no avail. I'm still getting the pop ups. I came here and someone suggested I get Malwarebytes Protection so I've done that. Still getting these pop up's!!! So! 1. Should I remove Kaspersky? Do I really need it? 2. Any suggestions on how to get rid of these pop up's? I'll attach a screen shot of one...

Here's one of many! Thanks for any help.

There’s no malware here. Nothing wrong.

As for adding apps, I use the built-in anti-malware, and don’t use and generally don’t recommend add-on apps.

The whole point of this notification advertising is to get you to install something you very likely don’t need, too.
