Making a call from another iPhone connected to the same Apple ID

Greetings!

I have two iPhones. Let's call them A and B. I have a sim card in iPhone B. Both the iPhones are connected to Wi-Fi and also are signed in to the same Apple ID. I have Calls on nearby devices option turned on so whenever someone calls/texts me on my Sim on iPhone B, I also receive the call/text on my iPhone A.

What I want to know is that is there a way to "Make" a call/text from my iPhone A? I want to be able to use my iPhone B's sim card on my iPhone A to make a call or send a text similar to how I am receiving these. I read on the Apple website where they have mentioned that users can "make and receive calls" if they are signed in to the same Apple ID on both devices. I can't seem to make this work at the moment.

You can have multiple Caller IDs for FaceTime on your device with FaceTime.

This can be achieved by changing the Caller ID as shown in the GIF below. (Made on iPhone 6 iOS 12.4.5)

Change the Caller ID before making a FaceTime call. Enjoy privacy...

Caller ID is same as Reachable At IDs

In Order to add more Reachable At IDs (Refer to Picture at the bottom), Log into https://appleid.apple.com with your Apple ID credentials. Under Account Section Click Edit and Add as many as Reachable At Phone Number or Email IDs
