Make Home & End keys behave like Windows on Mac OS Ventura

I would like to remap my home and end keys so it jumps to beginning or end of a sentence rather than the entire document.

I tried to follow this one but didnt work:

Any idea or existing apps I could use to reprogram this?

Cheers

I don't have a home or end key, but the equivalent shortcuts are cmd-up arrow and cmd-down arrow.

I noticed that Word (2019 and all before it) interferes with the home/end standard shortcuts. All it does is move the line up or down one. If that's where you are having a problem, it might be Word causing the inconsistency.

The command key moves the insertion point. The same commands with the fn key just scrolls the document.

I wasn’t really suggesting another way to do it. I was suggesting that if you’re using Office applications and not seeing the correct home and end behavior, it could be because of Microsoft. It was more an example of what I have observed over the years using their products on macOS.

you may find a way to remap the Kehs to do something else, but it won’t make any difference in Office.
