I can't make bookmarks on Safari.

I am running Sonoma 14.0 on Mac Air M2. I can't make bookmarks on Safari. Would appreciate any suggestions. Have very slow internet connection where I am so haven't done the update on Sonoma. This has been going on for about a month.

Sure enough when I was able to download the update, the problem was solved.

Can't edit bookmarks after switching to Safari from Chrome. Hi, I recently tried going back to Safari from Chrome on my Macbook Pro, but since I have I haven't been able to edit bookmarks. Bookmarks no longer "drag" I just upgraded to Safari 16.0 and now my bookmarks are messed up. I can no longer drag a bookmark from one folder to another and cannot drag a folder to another location. Anyone have a workaround?
