Ever since this update, I’m unable to play music with my iPhone with AUX through my car speakers. I can’t play music with my iPad Pro iPadOS 17.1.1 either. I bought a brand new AUX cable and cleaned the ports. Music still won’t play from either device.

Hello again. I finally figured out what the problem was. The AUX port in my car is loose. I found out when I plugged in a Bluetooth module and it wouldn’t work. I accidentally jiggled it when I unplugged it and music came out of the speakers. I plugged the aforementioned AUX cable back in and moved it around the same way and music came through the speakers. It was just a pure coincidence that this happened right after I updated iOS.
Now, I have to get the loose port fixed.

Did you try to force restart the iPhone and restart your car if it's restartable, and check its compatibility with IOS 17.1.1
Do have the possibility to try another iPhone with the same cable by any chance? Or you can call the Apple Support and have your iPhone tested so you know exactly what is causing this problem
You should check the compatibility of your car with the latest IOS, maybe there’s an update
How are headphones able to play via AUX, but not the car stereo?
It doesn’t matter if it’s new, it depends on the make, for example is it an Apple cable or reputable make?
It depends how the connection to the car speakers is made, because the music is coming from iPhone IOS 17 if it isn’ compatible with the car it won’t read it, and maybe it’s the cable , did you try another AUX cable?
Yes, I forced restart on both devices and the car also and both still won’t play music.

Shouldn’t everything play then? The iPhone X isn’t software supported anymore but still plays with headphones.
I bought new AUX cables and still, nothing plays. It’s very odd.
