iCloud Drive desktop / Document and Finder is crashing

Hi All. After upgrading to SONOMA then iCloud Drive sync for desktop/documents lets the finder crash. When I click on cloud the Finder quits. If I turn off the document/desktop sync then iCloud Drive works normally....

Emptying Trash gets hung up with files both on iCloud and local My iCloud was getting full so I am trying to delete extraneous files. Here is what happens: Identify a block of files to delete and issue "Move to Trash" if the system gets hung up on a file (why?) the Emptying Trash says "Moving Y items to Trash. Items to delete: x files. Then hangs forever. I have left it overnight to see what happens. Nothing. Solution: Open Activity Monitor. Force Quit Finder Try again. Then it works. The select next block of files. Repeat. REALLY? Why can the Trash not delete these files whether they are local or on iCloud? Have a complaint about iCloud too but that is another entry.

iCloud Drive Access Not Working - Browser or iCloud for Windows Hi, I've seen a few of these posts but no resolution, and no comments lately, so asking for myself. This was working fine until 2 days ago when I noticed I had a queue of files waiting to sync on iCloud for Windows. Based on my troubleshooting so far, it appears to be Windows authentication issue, as when I try from Safari, Chrome or Edge on my iPad or iPhone it works (but that uses inbuilt iOS auth even via a browser). Tried turning Access iCloud on the Web off on my account and back on again, didn't work, and Advanced Data Protection is turned off. Any ideas? Thanks

iCloud Drive uploads and downloads to Mac extremely slow Hello. For the last week, iCloud Drive has been uploading and downloading files to my Mac in an extremely slow manner; in fact, up- and download have come to a halt. Does anyone have this problem? I have a MacBook Pro 13-inch, M1, 2020, 16 GB RAM, with macOS Sonoma 14.0
