How to update my iPhone 6 to iOS 16?

iOS 12.5.7 is the latest iOS security update for iPhone 6.

👉 iPhone 6 can’t be update to a higher iOS (13 and later). 

If you have an outdated iPhone that cannot be updated to iOS 13 or later, many apps will not be able to download.

Outdated iPhone no longer meets the requirements for many apps.

Most apps require iOS 13.4 or later.                                

Considering a newer type of iPhone?

Read this before you buy a newer type iPhone.

Unfortunately, you cannot do this with an iPhone 7.

You will need to have an iPhone 8 if you want to run iOS 16.

You might want to do this, but you cannot do this.

If you want to run iOS 16, you must have an iPhone 8 or higher model.

Nobody can help you to update an iPhone 6 to iOS 16.

iOS 12 is the end of the line for the iPhone 6 – a phone released about nine and a half years ago.

iPhone 6 will never be able to run iOS 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, or higher.

An iPhone 7 plus can only be updated to iOS 15.8.2. If you need a higher version, you will need to purchase a newer phone.
