iOS 17 iPhone Call Screen Change

I see that people are complaining about the new gray screen. I could honestly care less about that, I care about the functionality of the user experience. My complaint is that Apple decided to move the buttons from the middle of the screen to the bottom. They also swapped around Mute and Speaker. This is absolutely horrible to use. I constantly touch the screen towards the bottom when on a call and inadvertently hit Mute, FaceTime, etc.. This is terrible when on a call. I contacted Apple support and they say that there is no way to change it back to where they have always been and that of course you can’t roll back to the previous iOS.
