Serial number starts with L

Hi, I just got an iPad air 5th gen, the serial number starts with L. When I check in the coverage it does show up correctly the model and etc. So I want to know what L means. Does this mean my device is fake?

A device serial number may begin with a letter or number. On its own, a serial number cannot alone be used to determine the provenance of a device.

If you were going to the trouble of manufacturing a fake product, why not also go the extra mile and use stolen (or at least known good) serial numbers?

If you purchased your iPad directly from Apple or an Apple Authorised Retailer, you should have no concern whatsoever for having purchased a genuine product.
