Can an unlocked iPhone bought in France be used in the United States?

I'm currently looking to purchase an unlocked iPhone 15 Pro Max in France, however, I may be looking to move to the United States in the future, and I was wondering if I could use an unlocked iPhone that was bought in France with American carriers. (T-Mobile, AT&T, Verizon, Sprint, etc...)

Keep in mind that iPhones sold in France come with the traditional SIM tray as French carriers have not yet adopted eSIM technology.

Yes. Actually, the models sold in France (and everywhere else in the world with the exception of the US and China) have one eSIM and one physical SIM slot.

Things to keep in mind:

The warranty will not be valid in the US. It will only be valid in the EU.

You may be able to get things like a battery or screen replacement in the US, but that's it.

It will NOT have mm wave 5G capabilities. It will be limited to mid-band 5G.
