iOS 17.1.1 Issues on iPhone

Yes I’m having issues with the volume as well and have done all of the tricks that I have read online along with ensuring everything was turned up where I wanted them. Also I have some saved videos in my notes I need to be able to see full screen which I no longer can! I am HATING this upgrade as it has affected the 2 most used items for me!

I’m having issues with voice text, which I use often while driving. Since the iOS update I have been unable to reliably voice message or hear an entire response before the message stops being read. When I request Siri read it again, it just happens again. So frustrating.

I regret updating my phone… I typically wait until Apple works out the bugs but there is a major problem with this upgrade. No longer able to do a search in iMessage. the volume is lower, private browsing mode works when it wants to. My apps are working very slow.. if at all. I can no longer do a basic search for an app. Terrible Update!! Apple I cannot afford to buy a brand new phone right now. Please fix the bugs with this latest update!!!

Same happened to my iphone as well when I upgraded to ios 17 recent update.

The biggest bug was with Whatsapp which would stuck after every 10-15 mins and i am too frustrated!! Moreover, vlume issues are too many to list down!!

I am so angry right now. I cannot do anything with this phone since that update.

They seriously need to fix this. Sadly, it cannot be undone and all it did was take up A LOT of space. Apple, what was the purpose??

This is the worst software update in the history of updates. My contacts aren’t saving and so many other issues. It’s like a bunch of amateur coders have been given a summer project and apple has released it. They better fix this immediately.

The same exact thing happened to me cause I turn automatic update off for the exact reason that apple some scammers and use these updates to slow our phones down to buy their newest phone.

Did the update. Now says I have no cellular data at all and says my number doesn’t go to my phone. I have done every single trouble shooting I been told. So now I don’t have a phone unless I have wifi

The latest upgrade is horrible! When I make or receive calls, just an ugly blurred screen. Used to have the photo for the contact show up, now the photo is only a small circle in left corner. Can’t seem to figure out how to change it back. Also, pictures people sent me in text messages prior to the upgrade won’t download. So annoying.

14 pro max- battery draining at an alarming rate -3% an hour, I’ve done all the research with settings app updates and force restart.

This phone is less than 6 months old, i could previously go 2 days without charging… not anymore Apple tech has certainly taken a turn for the worse these last few years…. Wonder why.

The update to IOS 17.1.1 has been a disaster for my 14Pro Max. I've wasted so much time trying to get my settings back to what I had before the update...it's as if my phone was reset to some group of settings - completely ignoring what was already in the phone. Battery drain, ridiculous swings in volume settings depending on the app, saved maps...lost, and my absolute favorite...Live Voicemail. This is now apparently toggled "on" by default, and now I have a "Carrier Voicemail" I cannot delete, and my saved greeting is gone. The amount of time I've wasted trying to fix a phone that worked perfectly PRIOR to this update is just STUPID. PLEASE, Apple, issue a fix. We will NOT be updating any other apple products to this disaster version.

I’m definitely going to try this! My problem is talking in the phone it sounds digitally and cuts out a lot. I do hope this works! But it will be one more thing I have to remember when getting in my car. I already gave yo turn off my WiFi but that’s not a phone thing it’s the WiFi where I live. Thank you!

totally screwed up existing apps, wayze doesn’t work properly, spell check everywhere doesn’t work properly, underlined nearly every word in this post. Tried to open an app from an email for Black Friday & nothing.

unable to open Walgreens app at all. Voice recording for text not working properly. These are just the ones I tried.

Apple has a lot of work to do.

My Photos are now lower resolution and I just took a trip to Mew York and I am furious... when I share them they are poor qulaity and not clear... the one time I don't use my actual camera and now my pictures are junk - how do I fix this?????

My phone automatically updated the other night and once the update finished my phone locked up and froze. Once I was able to get it to unfreeze and start responding I found that my tap pay/wallet no longer work. Supposedly, after calling apple support, the tap sensor has failed. What's crazy is it worked 3 hours before updating the phone. Also, since doing the update all of my calendar events are gone, my volume seems weird when connected to the Bluetooth in my car.

I'm just glad that this update hasn't caused my phone to start overheating like the previous one had.
