FCPX (Final Cut Pro) Timeline mess - please help!

I have nearly finished an edit for a football video and coming to the end I must have pressed a button or something because my timeline has changed into a block instead of it being placed as normal. I'm not even explaining myself very well because this is stressing me out. I have attached screenshots of what it looks like now and what it is supposed to look like (a previous edit)

I cannot play the video and I am unable to go back (undo) as I closed the software down.

Can someone please help me.

Apparently, the "2023-11-10 ... " project shows the duration as ... 1 frame!

I have no idea how that happened.

At the moment, the only thing I can suggest is to try and open a recent backup of the library: File->Open Library->From Backup

You will be offered a number of date options:

Hopefully not again.

Do you make backups after completing your work? Backup files are the only thing that will save you when something goes wrong. Don't rely on FCP's automatic backups; instead, get in the habit of saving your data using Time Machine, etc., after completing your work.

Don't cram too many projects into one library. Please be careful because if the library becomes corrupted, you will not be able to open any projects again.
