I noticed in my cell data that Siri used approximately 11MB of data recently. I’ve had Siri shut down on my phone so I’m not sure why or how it could use this data.
I also noticed the other night that Siri used a small amount of battery despite being off. Is this unusual?

You can’t turn Siri completely off. You can turn off “Hey Siri”, and using the side button to wake Siri, but that does not turn Siri off, it just prevents you from invoking Siri by voice. Siri also powers the search features of your phone.

As I said, you can’t shut Siri off, you can only stop Siri from taking voice commands. But any time you use Search you are using Siri, and in the background Siri must update its index so when you search it can respond quickly.

I was a bit concerned because I had a website get blocked by apple content blocker the same night and time period it randomly used power. I didn’t click anything in the pop up it produced but it seemed a bit odd.
I do not. I have none of the settings here on but do have about 20 analytics data reports for Siri from the last few days. I assume they haven’t sent though since I disabled sharing
