You need to press the Side Button on your Apple Watch (the long one) and then press the iPhone Locate Button in the Control Center. This is the new way to get into the Control Center. That’s how you do it. I hope you follow these directions.

That’s the way it used to be and quite easy. But now pushing the stem brings up all the apps.
