My iPhone auto updated to 17.1.1 overnight. The next day when I went to use ApplePay I found that it had become disabled and my credit cards have been removed. If I try to add one, I get a COULD NOT SET UP APPLE PAY message. I have restored multiple times and the error persists.

I have just the same problem, I am trying to add my 5 days in a row, and I call to Apple support to my bank everybody says all fine)) I was very angry, just 15 min ago I updated my iPhone 14 pro Max to 17.1.2 and easily added my 2 cards from a different bank. So my opinion it was an issue with the Apple software!!! Nothing else!

Mine started working again after updating to 17.2
I got it after 17.1.2
Same issue for me, and same troubleshooting.
I cannot access my apple savings. They told me the only way I can access it is using Wallet, which no longer works.
Me too after the update. My watch and iPad I can add and use fine. All the “fixes” don’t help, even a complete wipe. iPhone 14pro 17.2.1
