Screen Issue

Device Model: iPad air 5th Gen.

System Version: iPadOS 17.0.2

Device Condition:Main frame is slightly bending and scratched a little, nothing else.

Main Issue: Apple pencil 2 cant correctly write on the specific screen area of my iPad.

Detailed Description:

The malfunction area is vertically linear. The screen works fine&smoothly with using my finger touch, while some part of screen appears malfunction as I use Apple pencil 2 to write on it. The malfunction usually turns out to be like pencil lagging or like, once lines, drawn by my Apple pencil 2, cross the malfunctional area, they get warped by mystious force, and they always tend to come together to be a single line. Furthermore, the device was sent to Apple official repairing department by the expert at the Genius Bar. The current situation is, I've been told my iPad doesn't have any problem, my pencil works fine as well, but I still can't write, draw or do other things on the "Bermuda area" of my iPad with my pencil.

PS: My pencil works fine on other iPads, but other pencils can't write on the malfuction area of my ipad. I have tried so many times at the Genius Bar.

As described your iPad is clearly exhibiting an issue with Apple not interacting with specific area of the screen. You have already followed good fault-finding techniques in testing your iPad with other Apple Pencils - and your Pencil with other iPads. You have demonstrated that the issue is consistent with and only repeatable on your iPad.

The issue that you describe is indicative of a screen hardware fault that can only be resolved by replacing the iPad screen.

You have already sought assistance from the Apple Technicians at your local Genius Bar - but no fault has been identified. Presumably you have demonstrated the issue with your iPad to the Technician using your Pencil.

As such, you are in a difficult position; you have demonstrated a fault, but Apple have not acknowledged/confirmed the fault. Regrettably, if you are unable to have the fault resolved by Apple, your only option might be to replace the iPad at your own expense.
