17.1.1 update. Message search for gifs and #images no longer work?

When I go to “more,” images is not an option… even when I go to settings to select all possible apps for SMS, images not there :(

Not to mention that the update wiped out 100+ contacts from my list, did same to in-laws too. Please fix

bte cloud backup was worthless on contacts

I don’t have a ‘more’ option when I select the + to the left of the message field

Poor design changes. Makes me as a user want to consider a different product moving forward.

That doesn’t solve the problem. The voice recorder for recording voice messages is gone, as well as other icons. I’ll be googling how to unload this new iOS!

Absolutely hate that these icons were removed from immediate view - what was the point? why overly complicate?

I’m about to switch to Android. The inconveniences are annoying.

There are too many steps just to access images & gifs. I appreciate the feedback on what to do, but leave well enough alone so we don’t have to “do” anything. Ugh 🙄
