so I got an old iPhone 5 and it has the activation lock feature on it and i can’t get passed it. The previous owner of the phone got a new apple id and has no idea what his old apple id info is. he doesn’t have a device logged in to the old apple id how do i fix this?
Sorry, if the original owner can't unlock it, it's a brick. And that story sounds suspicious. It's most likely they sold you a stolen phone.
Activation lock is a security protocol that can't be bypassed. Only the person it is locked to can unlock it.
If you bought this from someone and it came locked, try to get your money back, you will never be able to use the phone.
