Is anyone else finding it impossible to cancel AppleCare ? I had to jump through hoops and the support options were useless.
I tried to follow the instructions to cancel in the Terms and Conditions. The instructions did not cover cancelling Apple Care+. I tried the chat box. They told me I had reached I Tunes and that I needed to speak to someone in the AppleCare department. She tried to transfer the call but they were busy so a follow up phone call was scheduled. The phone did not ring at the appointed time, but I received 2 voicemail messages that the robot had called. I tried to re-schedule the call but the re-scheduler refresh link with times available was not working. I then went into the site and scheduled another call. This time my phone rang at the appointed time but the robot could not hear my responses ("press 1 to proceed") so he said he would call back. Again, the phone rang a few m minutes later but this time the robot DID hear me press 1 and connected me to a real person who was able to help me in a few seconds.
IT SHOULD NOT BE THIS HARD TO CANCEL A SERVICE!! Anyone else as disappointed with Apple's "support" as I am. It used to be their strong suit!
