Clock And Calendar appears randomly but then goes away in my iPhone

Sometimes when my phone is rotated portrait mode or horizontally, the clock and calendar just appear when i get some sort of notification or something i think or when my phone turns on randomly it appears but then goes away. I'm not sure if i'm explaining it right but i've looked it up so many times and have gotten no where.

The photo I added is what just happens to pop up. Sometimes it's just in black and red. One time I even got one of those memory widgets on there. Remember this is my lock screen when i haven't used my face ID yet. I don't need it fixed, it's kinda cool but just wondering what it is.

Hello. I have this same screen as my standby screen.. Recently though, all of the numbers for the clock disappeared, only showing the hands. In addition, where the numbers should be showing for the calendar are just squares.. If I slide up or down through the different options on the right side, all other options only show squares or rectangles where data should be displayed.

Can anyone offer any help for this?

Brian
