Can I delete CP210xVCPDriver from my MacBook?

I am cleaning my MacBook to make more storage, and I find this random app called "CP210xVCPDriver", which I have no idea what is. What is this program? Can I just remove this from my computer, or is it a preinstalled app that is important for my computer to be able to function properly?

indicate this device is a serial device that is uncommonly used typically in data gathering from scientific devices. Unless you have any inkling you might use it, you can delete it.

You may need to boot into safe mode using the shift key to delete it.
