After iOS 17.1.1 update my iPhone apps are not working correctly

It didn’t change anything. All (multiple) problems remain. Apple continues to deny any update problems…

From what I've read, Apple has removed their signature from all IOS prior to IOS 17. So to answer your question: no, you can't undo the update.

Apple better come up with a fix soon IOS 18?), or I'll be shopping for another phone, and it won't be an iPhone.

You cannot reverse the update. Apple confirmed that prior to updating.

The $64 question is, why not? Apple seems to have some incentive to locking its phones in IOS 17/

But not all. I'm on 17.2.1, and still having the same problem with messages.

I bought iPhone 14 recently. The App Store is not showing required updates which is weird. I tried to refresh the screen but nothing seems to work. I tried to reset the settings as well to no avail. My old iPhone 11 with the same iOS version 17.1.1 did not have this issue.

My search bar doesn’t have keypad. So frustrating!! My first time having an iPhone in life (iPhone 15) i already can tell the difference when there’s an update on the phone. Never have issue with Android. So annoying

I have an iPhone SE, my husband an iphone X. The update caused the removal of group messaging toggle in my phone, but not in his. He has done all the updates and continues to have the group message toggle. I now do not think that it was an intentional removal, I think it is a glitch that randomly affects. Perhaps with the next update, things will smooth out. It is not a feature that they would knowingly remove. It makes no sense that they would.

I am having a similar issue. The only thing I have found to do is to do a hard restart of the phone, which I have to do almost daily since installing 17.1.1. I would like to find a less intrusive solution.

With the new update, when I slide down from the main screen to search the keyboard usually doesn't show up. I have to exit and go back to it for the keyboard to show up to be able to search apps in the phone.

Yeah mine is a mess. I did a timer alarm with their in house app and I couldn’t turn it off. Legit had to hard reset the phone to make the buzzer turn off. Auto correct is adding spaces and suggesting way off things more than ever. When someone calls the screen is gigantic with a slew of icons. I’ve had screen freezes and my safari keeps randomly logging me out of my account forcing me to resign in over and over again. The phone is struggling to sync with my car now all of a sudden. The battery feels like it’s being drained twice as fast like what on earth is going on? Are we able to go back to the old version while they fix this one? Or are they putting out an update today? Cause this 17.1.1 thing is trash.
