After iOS 17.1.1 update my iPhone apps are not working correctly

I have encountered several issues with my iPhone following an upgrade:

1. After the upgrade, all my apps disappeared, and the device reverted to factory settings upon connecting to the computer.
2. The update process is taking an excessive amount of time.
3. I would like to request the inclusion of a backup option for users to safeguard their data before installing this patch, particularly for those who do not have iCloud backup. I have experienced data loss with this patch.

Furthermore, it is crucial that during updates, the device does not retain any text or service providers such as calls and network from previous patches.

4.It's worth noting that these issues are specific to iPhones and have not been observed with other mobile devices.

5.Additionally, I must highlight the significant amount of time wasted in reinstalling all the apps and inputting passwords, which reflects poorly on the developers, testing team and the overall group involved in the update process.

I found this blog because I’m having the same issue with autocorrect and text. It’s terrible. Everything is taking me extra time to write and I have some cognitive issues so it’s incredibly frustrating. Quality control sure got it wrong with this one

17.4.1 update no better. EVERY update wrecks something. Now editing videos never finishes saving. Eg., cut off back end of a video and hit save. Volume and audio greyed out with preparing video displayed and it sits there forever. If you hit the back arrow and reopen the video then it will edit the video. Never had to do this before “update”. If just one update would actually work, I’d never update ever again.

Messaging pics with text still sends the first letter to the end of the sentence. That’s been screwed up since at least ios 16 garbage.

Mine too. My battery is draining even when I haven’t used it. My phone is not even paid for yet and already having issues. Seriously thinking about switching to Google or Android. I am tired of paying these outrageous prices for them to only work for 2 years.

I couldn’t even share my slideshow I made and put my own music to. When I would try to share from memories it still had the default song on there. I could delete the old one out of memories and it still would have the same memory with default music. I had to download another app to make a video. Shouldn’t have to do that with a $1000 phone.

SAME MY APPS ARENT UPDATING EITHER

iPhone update to 17.1.1 has taken away my ability to print from my phone any suggestions?

I’m not getting notifications/sounds. Every single time they update, everything is a mess, when no settings have changed!

Can we revert back to other update. 16.1.2? Cannot use FaceTime

So where do we go to get help after installing this crummy update?

My “hey siri” is always on full volume, locked or unlocked, even after turning Siri’s volume down.

same here. No calls coming in or going out!

How is this helpful. Obviously we already updated

Mail just quits unexpectedly, spam invites in calendar and difficulty connecting to any wifi…. All after updating 😑

update iOS 17.1.1 has removed most of my 2023 send emails in my file. Has anyone answered how do we get back to the version before this one ???
