The Ipad and Iphone version of Safari no longer saves country and language settings. As a result, you can no longer do Google searches on different countries and languages. How to fix the problem?

This issue could be due to several reasons, including browser settings, and cache. Here are a few steps you can try to fix this problem:

  1. Clear Safari Cache and History: Clear your cache on iPhone - Apple Support (IN)
    1. Open the Settings app on your iPad Pro.
    2. Scroll down and find Safari in the list.
    3. Tap on Safari, then scroll down and select "Clear History and Website Data."
    4. Confirm and clear the history and website data.
  2. Reset Safari Settings:
    1. In the Safari settings, you can also try resetting various options.
    2. Go to Settings > Safari.
    3. Scroll down and select "Advanced."
    4. Tap on "Website Data" and then "Remove All Website Data."
  3. Check Language and Region Settings: Change the language and region on iPhone - Apple Support
    1. Sometimes, language and region settings can affect browsing behavior.
    2. Go to Settings > General > Language & Region.
    3. Make sure the correct language and region are selected.
  4. Ensure your iPad Pro has the latest iOS version installed. Updates often fix bugs and improve functionality.
    1. Update Over-the-Air (OTA) —> Update your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support (IN)
    2. Update using iTunes/Finder —> Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support (IN)
  5. Try using Google's country-specific search by visiting the respective country's Google site (e.g., google.co.uk for the UK, google.fr for France) directly in Safari. You can set the language and region preferences on the respective Google site.
  6. If the issue persists, you can try resetting all settings on your iPhone. This will not erase your data but will reset all personalized settings to their default values. Go to Settings > General > Transfer & Reset > Reset > Reset All Settings and confirm the action. Note that you will need to reconfigure your settings afterward. All settings—including network settings, the keyboard dictionary, the Home screen layout, location settings, privacy settings, and Apple Pay cards—are removed or reset to their defaults. No data or media are deleted.
    1. Reset All Settings: Return iPhone settings to their defaults - Apple Support:- Return iPhone settings to their defaults
    2. You can return settings to their defaults without erasing your content.
    3. If you want to save your settings, back up your iPhone before returning them to their defaults. For example, if you’re trying to solve a problem but returning settings to their defaults doesn’t help, you might want to restore your previous settings from a backup.

If none of the above steps resolve the issue, it is recommended to reach out to Apple Support or visit an authorized service center for further assistance. They can provide specific guidance based on your device model and iOS version.
